My Journey to Planeta Vida: A Story of Curiosity and Self-Discovery

I'm Pacha Ngandu, the mind behind the Planeta Vida Platform. My journey to becoming a health philosopher wasn't paved with medical degrees or formal training. It was born from something much more fundamental: an insatiable curiosity about the human experience, particularly the intricate puzzle of human health. I've always been a questioner, an observer, fascinated by the "why" behind human behavior. This inherent philosophical approach led me down a path of self-directed learning, a deep dive into the fascinating world of human biology.

I immersed myself in the study of anatomy, biochemistry, psychology, neuroscience, microbiology – any field that could shed light on the complex interplay of factors that contribute to our well-being. I focused intently on habit formation, understanding how these often unconscious patterns shape our lives. Metabolism, the nervous system, and the profound influence of our environment – from the food we consume and the air we breathe, to our interactions with others and even environmental conditions like temperature and humidity – all became subjects of intense scrutiny. I sought to understand the intricate links between our physical and mental health, the connections between ourselves and the world around us, and how we can modify our habits and behaviors to restore balance.

This journey wasn't purely academic. It was deeply personal. I experienced my own struggles with health imbalances. Through my research and self-experimentation, I managed to lose 40 kilograms and, more importantly, keep it off. I reversed chronic high blood pressure and pre-diabetes. These personal victories weren't just about physical changes; they were transformative experiences that solidified my belief in the power of self-understanding and self-control. They became the foundation upon which the Planeta Vida method was built.

Planeta Vida isn't about quick fixes or trendy diets. It's about empowering individuals to take ownership of their health and their lives. It's about recognizing that the healthcare system, while vital, cannot replace our personal responsibility in maintaining our well-being. Ultimately, when we suffer, we suffer alone. That's why understanding our bodies, our minds, and our habits is so crucial.

My philosophy is rooted in the idea of striving. We are meant to be vibrant, full of life, brimming with ideas and dreams, and possessing the energy to bring them to fruition. Life inevitably presents challenges and difficulties. I believe in befriending these challenges, recognizing them as opportunities for growth and evolution. They are part of the journey.

Planeta Vida is my way of sharing what I've learned, of helping others unlock their own potential for health and happiness. It’s about understanding that self-control is the key. It guides us away from distractions, away from destructive habits, and away from the rollercoaster of fleeting pleasures followed by inevitable pain. It's about consciously choosing what we allow into our lives and what we reject. It requires effort, courage, and dedication, but the rewards are immeasurable. With health and self-control, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. This is the power of creation that resides within each and every one of us. This is the essence of Planeta Vida.
